How do I start a return or exchange?

Starting a Return or Exchange

For both Domestic and International Orders, the easiest way to initiate a return or exchange is through the Tradlands Exchange Portal. If making an exchange or shopping with your exchange credit, you may be charged for the balance on price differences. You may also be charged for shipping in accordance with our policy:

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping costs. As such, and unless otherwise noted, shipping will automatically be deducted from the balance of your return or exchange.
  • Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and are not eligible for a refund.

Please note common Sale Exclusions:

  • Sale items purchased during site-wide seasonal sales where items are reduced in price, or marked as "Store Credit Only" in the product description (including the Anniversary Sale, Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sales, end of season sales, and holiday sales) are eligible for store credit only.
  • Clearance, Markdown, and Final Sale items where the price ends in .99 are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or store credit.
  • All items purchased during the Annual Sample Sale are final sale. No exceptions will be made.

🇺🇸 Domestic Returns and Exchanges

For regular full-priced items that are  not flagged "Store Credit Only" or "Final Sale", customers may return their purchase for a refund to the original payment method or for store credit within 30 days of the fulfillment date, not the delivery date.

  • For domestic orders, customers receive 1 free exchange.
  • For refunds to the original payment method, return shipping will automatically be deducted from your refund amount.
  • For refunds to store credit (a gift card), return shipping will be waived.

🌎 International Returns and Exchanges

For regular full-priced items that are  not flagged "Store Credit Only" or "Final Sale", customers may return their purchase for a refund to the original payment method or for store credit within 30 days of the fulfillment date, not the delivery date.

  • For international orders, customers are responsible for all shipping costs, duties, and fees.

Store Credit Only Items

For items flagged "Store Credit Only", customers may return their purchase for store credit in the form of a Tradlands gift card within 30 days of the fulfillment date, not the delivery date. Details regarding an item's return status are displayed prominently in red text on the product details page. When purchasing, please make sure to take note of these details to determine whether or not the item is a "Store Credit Only" or "Final Sale" item.

Final Sale Items

Items flagged "Final Sale" are not eligible for returns, exchanges, store credit, or refunds. Details regarding an item's return status are displayed prominently in red text on the product details page. When purchasing, please make sure to take note of these details to determine whether or not the item is a "Store Credit Only" or "Final Sale" item.

Returning an Exchange Order

For both Domestic and International orders, Tradlands offers  one free exchange on eligible items within the standard 30-day window. As such, and by default, exchange orders (orders that are the result of a previous exchange) are not enabled in the Tradlands Exchange Portal for additional exchanges. To inquire about returning an exchange order, please email us at info@tradlands.com and we'll be more than happy to assist you.

Important Conditions for Processing your Return

⚠️ Make sure you are only returning items that are unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags. Any items that are returned worn, dirty, or otherwise not in their original condition will be rejected.

⚠️  Be sure to include all accessories that came with the initial product. This could include belts, sashes, ties, etc. Returns with missing accessories can be held from processing without customer notification. It is the customer's responsibility to mail back all pieces for the product they are returning in order to receive their refund, store credit, or exchange item.

⚠️  Please note: We do not take responsibility for items returned to us outside of the Tradlands Returns Portal or without being notified first. Furthermore, please know we are unable to process or confirm returns that are sent without proper tracking details. Please contact us directly with any questions you have about the returns process. 

⚠️ We do not offer returns for Scrunchies, Bandanas, or Sample Sale Items.

⚠️ We don’t offer refunds, store credit, or replacements on purchases past the standard 30-day return window or items missing their tags, have been worn, or have been washed.
